Open modal from a JS triggered by Save Action

I'm not able to run a .open function on a modal window via a JS script triggered from a table "Save action". I've made a video to make it more explicit:

Any ideas would be much appreciated

it should be yourtablename.open() missing open and closed parenthesis as it is a function
