Noob question on Encryption_Key

I successfully installed self-hosted Retool on docker and am getting a warning that I'm missing the encryption key. I read that the encryption key is created with the install.sh script and stored in the docker.env file. I copied the string from an earlier attempt of manually installing Retool, added it to my current docker.env file and then rebooted my server. When I opened the home page again, it still says that I need to install an encryption key. Any suggestions?

Thanks - John

Hi @jfstockton, welcome to the forum!

A couple of questions:

  1. Is this happening locally or in a VM?
  2. Did we run the install.sh script on the new attempt? Or did we just copy the key from the previous one?
