@tanay-retool has there been any update on this? The python environment permanently shows as "installing" and thus not new libraries cannot be added.

I believe this should be resolved now, although I'm still working on a bug with language support. Your libraries should install and run fine, but autocomplete might not be working and your libraries can be reported as missing even if they exist. Working on resolving that issue as soon as possible.
