Microphone component - bug with audio file size limitations

Hi Retool community,

I'm using a mobile-optimized web app to record audio of in-person meetings using the microphone component. After a certain recording file size (from rough testing, we estimate >30 mins), the file save fails. I'm assuming this is an issue related to browser memory or max body size for Retool requests, but not 100% sure.

Has anyone run into the problem in the past? If so any ideas for workarounds/alternatives?

One idea I had was to chunk the audio and then stitch it together later, but not sure how to do this exactly.

Hey @Willie_Zhou, which component are you using for file upload? The retool file picker, s3 uploader, or something else?

Sorry, just seeing this. We're streaming audio to our own Render service
