We're dealing with this same issue and using an Atlassian app that gives a client id and secret that can be input in retool's resource (we're on self hosted). After you save those values, you HAVE to go through the OAuth flow using your personal credentials. That's just how it works. So I'm not sure what you mean by user-based auth. And curious what "custom auth" means here? Any ideas or insights would be appreciated!
