Is it possible to access Shared Queries as "SQL views"?

Hi there,

I have some shared queries that use the Retool Database as a source (print below)

However, when I use the Database external connection (using a 3rd party tool - like Dbeaver) I can query the tables, but I can't find the Shared Queries. They were supposed to be Views on the database, weren't they?

Hi Francisco,

Thanks for writing in and welcome to the Retool community!

The queries are stored on a different database than your tables. There is what is referred to as the "Retool Database" which has all of your tables, and then there is a separate Postgres database that your Retool instance is stored on as well as your queries and all instance related metadata. If you are on Cloud, unfortunately you do not have direct access to that database.
