I have been working with the default Retool Database but am now needing a separate database. I cannot find the option to create a new database within Retool. Is this even possible or is it designed to only have a single database for all applications?

It's just a single database if you're using the one included with Retool. You can technically have more if you have an account with different environments, but that's not exactly the same. When I use the Retool DB I just namespace my tables by prepending them with 2-3 letters that tie them to their app/purpose. Like app1_ users, app1_prefs etc.
