How do I authenticate to a REST API with a Google Service Account?

  • Goal: I need to impersonate a Google Service Account to pass the bearer token to a REST API service.

  • Steps: Searching for options on how to do this.

  • Details: According to these posts (1, 2), Google Service Account was added as an authentication option back in November of 2023. We are running an enterprise-licensed self-hosted (up to date) Retool instance and don't see this option. Was it removed? Strange that it isn't documented in the docs.
