How can I stop a workflow through API?

I have a workflow running, but I want through an API call to prevent that workflow from continuing to run, perhaps by changing its enable status to false

Hello! We don't currently have an API for programatically turning off a Workflow. Would you mind sharing a bit more about your current use case? Where would you call this API from?
