When trying to get the SQL right in the query I often comment some code out by using double dashes.
It would be nice if those comments were hidden in the SQL command sneak peak.

As far as I know you cannot hide SQL Comments.
only way to keep code and make it non-executable is using comments
Which you are already doing.
