Live on Cloud

Gemini 3.6 Flash is now available to cloud organizations through Google. It can be used with AI resource queries when you connect Google with your own API key. Support for self-hosted Retool is coming in an upcoming release.

Hey @retool_team ,

that’s a super cool update. Although, for all of our Gemini Flash use cases outside of Retool, we have already switched over to Gemini 3.7 Flash, which is a significant step up over 3.5 / 3.6.

I really hope that Gemini 3.7 Flash (BYOK) will already be included in the upcoming stable release - especially for App Building support.

so we upgraded to the new stable release (4.34.1) and the only Gemini models available for the app builder are 3.1 Pro and 3.5 Flash:

By now, the current Gemini model is 3.8 Flash. I really hope that you can activate new models for the AI builder via feature flag or remote configuration, or will update via a patch release on the 4.34 line … fingers crossed

Would really love to finally give the new AI builder a proper try.
