Custom auth modal button keeps loading when failing login or clicking on close button. I have to refresh the page for the button to be clickable again.

This is actually a known issue that's being looked into. Thanks for the bump here! I've linked this conversation to our internal ticket for it so that when there's an update we'll pass it along in this thread.

Still waiting for this one, and being able to save the returned auth values somewhere..

Apologies for the wait, it looks like this ticket had been put on hold. But I did just add a +1 from you to the ticket to increase its weight.
For the returned auth values, those should be automatically added in to requested made to the authenticated resource once the auth flow is completed.
If you are looking to get the auth token back to store in a variable for other uses let me know the use case and I can see if I am able to help!
