Connect Retool to Azure Synapse/SQL Server via Service Principal

I am having troubling connecting to an Azure SQL Server and Azure Synapse Serverless via a Service Principal. Is this something that is possible?

Have tried using application id + client secret as username and password, but no luck so far. I know the authentication mechanisms are somewhat different between Users and Service Principals on the Azure side, so I am curious if this is even something currently supported by Retool.

Any and all feedback would be appreciated.

Also, would like to verify that installing the JDBC connector would resolve my issue, but have had troubling doing that on a self-hosted Retool with Helm on AKS.

Can't copy files to the persistent volume as I get access denied. When changing the security context as noted in the docs, the pod crashes upon startup.
