Hey all! One of our favorite UI hacks now up on the Bold Tech site - collapsing side containers to tuck away your filters/charts/extra data when not needed:
Since this is not (yet) an in-built function in Retool, we've hacked this by using two overlapping table components with different widths, which hide alternately based on the value of a temp state, to reveal/hide the side container.
You could even do this with containers on both sides! Don't forget you need to match up selected row/sort/page across both - more info in the tutorial.
