I can absolutely see the use for that! I have logged this feature request internally and will update this channel as things move forward. If you have a specific use case in mind, do let me know and I’ll add it to the request.
In the meantime, it is likely possible to build this out with the use of Retool AI using AI actions (generate chat response) and linking the query with existing Mobile components. It would require a little more heavy-lifting though.

I recently asked the same thing here on this forum. Right now I’m playing around with the web version.
But a template app/standalone version just like the web app would be great for mobile. Also a version that you can easily drag and drop in an existing app is on my wishlist. For web and mobile.
Who doesn’t want a smart help chat in their app enhanced with vectors? It’s something every app can make use of. The thing it makes it useful are the vectors.
A barebone version without AI integrated would also be interesting for mobile. But I don’t really need it. But I can image others might.

@jade I am having a hard time figuring out how AI Actions can help me build this. I get all sorts of errors latest being different scopes between inputs and queries. Is there an article, video, anything that shows how a chat bot can be implemented in a mobile app?

It looks like the feature request for a mobile AI chatbot is still not ready yet
Our AI tools are currently best set up for web apps! Here is a helpful youtube video made by our team on building custom apps, and here is another video that is a build along for using our AI tools!

Need this. Chat, especially AI chat is an essential for an internal mobile app (for ticketing, agentic workflows, etc)
Is there an ETC on this? What are the current alternatives, to use a Telegram bot? Has anyone successfully built this?

Totally understand the need. A mobile native chat component is still on the roadmap but it looks like that ticket is backlogged as our mobile team has a lot of features they are currently working on.
I will continue to add everyone's +1s to the ticket so add weight and help it move up the priority queue.
For current alternatives, the best option would be using a web app with a chat component and an AI Query. Then accessing the web app via browser on mobile.
Not sure about Telegram bot but if any users have leveraged third party chat providers with Retool I would also be very curious on how they set it up.
