Bulk update cells with the same value without saving the table to the DB

Hi

I have a use case where a table component is used with a multi select.
When a user selects multiple rows and modifies a cell's value, I want this change to be reflected in the corresponding cells of all the other selected rows in the same column.
Is this achievable without saving the table tot he DB?
