Aurora DB instance class sizing

We are using AWS Aurora Postgres DB. we've currently deployed our test env with a db.r6g.large instance size. I've searched through the self hosted docs and didn't see any specifics on recommended/best practice db sizing outside of just storage capacity.

AWS Aurora class sizes:

Has anyone found a good baseline for this as I prepare for higher environment deployments? (we are running multi-instance self-hosted).

Hi @shotrock! Thanks for posting this

Unfortunately, as you noted, we don't have a lot of formal best practices yet. Retool use cases can vary widely, which makes it tricky to make recommendations, but I'm hoping we can get some input from other community members here!

Generally speaking, we instruct teams to start with db.t2.medium and scale up as needed
