I started seen issues on sunday in the morning. I re-installed the retool app from Google Play, cleared cache, etc. I cannot make it work on my android phone
This is the error I see in the mobile console log:
Authentication failure. Mismatched xsrf token
I just noticed/found out about it this morning. My iPhone seems to work fine, but my iPad is experiencing the problem where it logs into the pop-up window, and the app in the background remains logged out:
Thank you for the context.
We still haven't been able to repro on our end, but we have seen some similarly strange issues with Samsung devices and cookies in December.
Would you all be able to try our 2 most recent app store versions to determine if this is a recent regression?

@jeffmul23 or anyone else, can you share a screenshot or video of this Authentication failure. Mismatched xsrf token
error?
I can attach a video of my mobile app failing
(Attachment screen-20240116-160946~2.mp4 is missing)
@jeffmul23 I can't view that attachment, mind attaching again or emailing me at braden AT retool dot com?
Hey folks, apologies for the login issues some are experiencing this week. We'll get a fix out ASAP, but in the meantime it looks like we have a potential workaround.
Instead of logging into Retool Cloud, try setting your subdomain as an On Premise
backend and login should work.
@bca here is a screenshot of the xrsf error.
Only got it on my Samsung S21.
Rebooting, clearing app cache, nothing fixed it so far.
@Michael we believe that this xsrf token mismatch is a separate issue caused by some bad cookies being cached on your device. Can you try deleting + reinstalling the app, and clearing cookies in Chrome? Clearing cookies only on the .retool.com
domain may also work.
This workaround did fix our iPads that were logging in within the pop-up window. Thanks.
The login issues in this thread should now be fixed (specifically, users being trapped inside the login window). Please create a new thread if you're having other login issues.
