AgentChat component not showing Agent dropdown - need to connect deployed agent, please help. its asking me to do it manually using a UUID . I have no idea where its located.

I think you might have toggled the Dynamic Agent ID switch (the italicized/cursive looking f ) if you are not seeing the Agent selection. Click on the button and you should see the agent selector come back

If that doesn’t seem to fix the problem (or if you suddenly have a love for hard-coding UUIDs), you can find the unique ID for each Agent by going to their settings and finding the bit of info here in the URL:
If this still doesn’t connect the Agent, there may be a deeper issue going on with the component or app which might need some Retool assistance to resolve.
