Hi,
Please add the function setReadOnly() to change readonly settings of components.
In contrary to setting fields to be disabled, with readonly, you're still able to select and copy text from the field.

I just came across a good need for this in one of our apps — I'll have to change the input from using read-only to enabled/disabled for my case, which loses useful functionality.
Any way this could get some renewed attention given the internal ticket was created in Oct. '23?
Also would be nice if click handlers' "Control Component" had that as a method so scripting isn't needed in all cases.
