Is it possible, or would it be possible, to version apps similar to how protected apps work? Instead of having branches, maybe we could tag apps with a specific version, and have links generated from that, that point at the same app but a different git tag under the hood.

Just to give some context, I'm currently duplicating apps and versioning them manually at the moment, like so.
