Hi all, thanks for bringing this to our attention. I've submitted a bug report and we'll see what we can do on our end to improve our deliverability rates!
I have read several posts in the forum regarding transactional emails ending up in Spam, but there is no conclusion or recent update in any of them.
I recently handed over my first project built on Retool to a client and now I started to receive complaints that when they invite new users to the app, those users are not receiving the emails. While testing, I got the invite as a Spam, which is not ideal. I have an enterprise Gmail account.
There is the option to copy the invite link from a pending request, and I have pointed this out to my client, but this is just a work-around, and one that I am not happy of sharing with future clients.
This client has opted for a Business plan, so I cannot take advantage of the Retool Events, which are mentioned in other posts.
I just checked the ticket and no updates unfortunately.
I raised the ticket priority because this is a major issue that needs to be addressed asap. New user invites should not and must to be lost to spam folders as that is a major inhibitor of users accessing Retool apps.
I will hopefully be reporting back with good news on this being fixed soon
Thanks for the update @Jack_T !
I agree with you, and I appreciate you raising the priority on this issue. Hopefully it will be solved soon.
Iβve even received reports that the copy link feature does not work properly from time to time, but I need to align with the client and see exactly whatβs really going on there before flagging it to you.
