Is it possible to have multiple organizations under the same email domain?

I just created an account with a USF (University of South Florida) email address, and, to my surprise, I was automatically given access to someone else’s projects because they have an account with USF as well. How can I make a new organization? There are several tens of thousands of USF students and I want to be able to protect my work.

I’m signing in with Google SSO by the way.

uh oh! sorry about that @ian-sanders, this is a definitely a problem. i’ll come up with a fix for this tomorrow

Solution: ask Retool support to change the email associated with you account on the first organisation to be an alias.

i.e. if your normal email is bob@usf.edu then a valid alias should be bob+default@usf.edu

Google email adresses allow you to prepend anything after a '+' sign and it will still send to your normal address.
