I'm developing my first Retool project and got stuck with an issue that I can't figure out. I've emailed support a couple of times but haven't gotten a support ticket number or any acknowledgement that my inquiry was received. I've also posted my question in the community forum a few days ago and didn't expect an immediate response, but I'm stuck and can't really move forward without resolving this problem.
Is there somewhere else I should be seeking help? Thanks for any suggestions!
I understand your frustration. It can be very disheartening to not receive a response from support or the community when you're stuck on a problem. Here are a few additional avenues I found on docs.retool.com:
Retool Docs: Retool has a comprehensive documentation site that covers a wide range of topics, from getting started to building complex applications. It's likely that your issue has already been documented, so take some time to search through the docs and see if you can find a solution.
Retool Community Forum: The Retool Community Forum is a great place to connect with other users and get help from the community. There are many active users who are willing to help others, so you're likely to find someone who can assist you.
Retool's GitHub Repository: Retool's GitHub repository is a treasure trove of information for developers. You can browse through the code, search for issues that are similar to your own, and even submit your own issue if you can't find a solution.
Stack Overflow: Stack Overflow is a general programming Q&A site, but it's also a great resource for Retool users. Search for your issue on Stack Overflow and see if anyone has already posted a solution.
Retool's Slack Channel: If you're an Enterprise plan customer, you can join Retool's Slack channel to get real-time support from Retool's team of engineers.
Here are some additional tips for getting help:
Be as specific as possible when describing your issue. The more details you can provide, the easier it will be for someone to help you.
Provide screenshots or code snippets if possible. This will help others to understand your issue more clearly.
Be patient. It may take some time to get help, but don't give up. Keep searching and eventually you'll find a solution.
