GUI mode greyed out when using service account

Im using service account to connect to my project.
But for some reason im getting the GUI to be greyed out, and dont understand if that is possible to dected through a service account? Rights that is?

I can push enforce GUI and get access to some GUI, but it does not help me with inserting. Some strange errors.

But I just wonder how this shall work with service account?
And should not bulk insert records be possible from SQL mode, if one can do it in GUI mode?

Hi @snorreentur! A greyed out GUI mode indicates that you may not have write access. Do you know if the service account has write permissions? What resource are you connecting to? I wonder if this issue is similar?

And you can definitely write a bulk insert query from both SQL and GUI modes, as long as you have permission on your resource account!

Sorry for late reply, I did acknowledge your answer, but moved on a bit as the priority got lower. But thanks for sharing, I cannot acknowledge this as a solution, and I dont have further answers to your question at the moment.
