I am building a collapsing container with some components inside, that when the user opens the main container, it cuts off the components inside. I dont see anyway to fix the height of a container or make it adjust automatically.

You should be able to set up the container's height within the container's settings:
If these are disabled, is probably because of settings of the parent container (if you hover over the disabled options it should give you some info).
Besides these two options, there isn't much you can do to update the height, except going for CSS.

Unfortunately, those options do not appear in my choices. It looks like you are showing me options from web app. Is that so? Perhaps it isnt available for a mobile app, which would seem silly to me.
Ah, sorry. Completely missed the fact that it was mobile.
Unfortunately I have little experience with mobile apps, so not able to provide much help here.
