Can't get field in a table to be excluded

I have a table where I have a field "check01" that I previously wanted to show in a table.
Now I no longer want to show it.
But when I get into the development screen I am unable to turn off the "show column" feature.
Any help would be appreciated. I have attached a graphic for your information.

Why do you believe you can't turn it off?

I think it was the features "use dynamic column settings". If you have that turned on then the toggle buttons won't move. Once I turned that off, I could slide the column buttons.
